Larson/Cox End 2000 Season on the Roof

Here's how we blew the Central Division PGT championship.

Competition in the Talon

The Eagle Talon is perfectly suited to driving fast on loose surfaces. The all wheel drive gets the power down via limited slip units in the center and rear differentials. The car has an amazing balance right out of the box and is incredibly forgiving when you get into trouble. It's no wonder that the Talon and its sisters, the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Plymouth Laser are some of the most popular cars in ProRallying.

A Production GT car is very little removed from its original version in many ways. Production GT cars are required to run with the original interior trim. Mine is quite comfortable, in fact, because I can't justify spending that kind of money on a car that I only drive a few times a year. I left in some of the creature comforts like carpeting and stereo.

In the meantime, that makes the car suitable for a lot more than just ProRallies. I have run, and intend to run a lot more TSD rallies, rallycrosses, and rally prechecks in the car.

Here's our ProRally record in the Talon:
